It is also associated with childlike innocence and immortal youth. Modern-day night lights are made of all sorts of materials such as glass, plastic, and metal, all come in varied shapes, sizes, and colors. Many also possess functional elements, like aromatherapy diffuser lights and speaker-integrated lamp, adding convenience and comfort during nighttime hours. Eric Carlson, an artist who has designed various night lights, believes that night lights have transcended time, and their usage continues to expand with the introduction of various innovative designs. He believes that no matter the changes in its design, the core purpose remains the same—to bring light and solace during the night.
