Every year, when the holidays come around, one of the first things my family does is to decorate the house with Christmas lights. We begin the tradition by stringing lights around the windows and porch roof. Since then, the Christmas lights have become a part of our family tradition. Not only do our Christmas lights bring warmth and cheer to our home, the twinkling of coloured lights also helps to create a festive atmosphere. My family and I enjoy being able to create a special holiday atmosphere that other people can enjoy. Every year, when my family puts up the Christmas lights, it is almost as if we are creating our own little outdoor snow globe. We also enjoy taking drives around the neighbourhood to look at the other Christmas lights. We love to see the different styles and colours being used to express the spirit of the season. It's amazing to see the joy and creativity of the people in my community. The Christmas lights are a reminder of the special bond that exists between family members everywhere. They remind us of the values of joy, love and peace. Every year, the Christmas lights help us to celebrate the joy of the holiday season.
